"... When I first saw our house not much was left reflecting the Bauhaus style, except for the amazing window. Nevertheless, I fell in love with the place immediately.  Even the horrendous grey facade and the gable roof could not hide the villa's former beauty and grace. After 7 years our decision to keep the original layout of the house proved to be right. We found it more important to leave the 3 large bedrooms unchanged than to build another room and bathroom. Since we have several friends and relatives abroad who visit Budapest often it was a criteria while looking for a house that we will be able to house them. The guest apartment including a kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor seemed like the perfect solution. 75 years have passed but the house still maintains its functionality. It simply feels good and natural to be in it. Due to its simplicity the villa gives off a sense of tranquility. 

The philosophy of Bauhaus is reflected in the interior design as well, simple forms, natural materials lacking all unnecessary decoration. We managed to create a modern, minimalistic living-space, which is original and in harmony. I have two children, who grew up in the house enjoyed playing in the huge garden and hanging out on summer evenings on the roof-terrace. We never even considered the thought of moving house, but unfortunately we had to make the decision. I truly hope that our house will bring as much joy to the future owners as it did to us. ... "
